Foxy friend!

This little guy showed up while we were having our morning coffee.Foxy went for the bread we had put out for Cocotte,our regular crow and her family then stayed around for the couple of weiners we threw out.After eating one,it went and buried the other in the snow in front of the house;guess we will see a return tomorrow...maybe?Salutations-Laurent

Beautiful animal! Foxes are very curious and for most part not afraid of people. I had one following me for a while on a winter hike.

Greg & Verena...The last time I saw one of these here(in the yard) was about 10 years ago.After Foxy buried its second weiner this morning,we went away for the day and back home at suppertime....SURPRISE,Foxy is back goes directly to its stach and digs out its supper.Now,let's see if we get to see a return visit for breakfast tomorrow.Forget about the stole,Monique has already adopted him/her.Salutations-Laurent

Sorry for one more comment. They seem to like eggs very much. I had a mother fox with 5 baby foxes in my yard one time. She loved eggs!

Ho Laurent raw eggs. But I was very lucky my fox was a resident. It munched up on a woodchuck and took his burrow in the corner of the yard, than have 5 baby foxes!!!
