convoluted ice

Quite a strong image, G&V . . . Although I can't get a sense of scale from it, it seems to me that this icicle has taken a while to reach this size. Its detail is fascinating.

This is so ridiculous- I wrote a whole comment then tried to attach a photo then whole thing disappears- no way to finish the deal.- so here-- That's the idea:) you can see the photo of the whole thing from the gutter (slightly smashed) (the gutter, not the viewer) but I can't attach it here but it is in my portfolio. I wish PN would get their act together.. also, Thanks!

Convoluted indeed! The soft light is a great choice here as harsher light would make the ice too bright and probably devoid of detail. Nice work

That is a serious case of Icicles you have there GV. Hope you get over it soon! By the way I try to remember to copy any message I write before sending (or attempting to) then if the PN gremlins steal your message you have a copy to repost.
