Queer British Art

I find it interesting that the word “queer” is no longer deemed derogatory. I fear it is the same reason the “n…..” word (when used by and among inner city Blacks) is no longer deemed offensive. Such words seem to have been appropriated by the referenced group as a way of dulling its impact - taking away its sting. I don’t think it is working for everyone.
