michaellinder 16,612 Posted January 16, 2018 Laurent, you've really gotten a lot of mileage from the church in this scene. In this instance, the brighter tones on the front of the building (the wall, steeple, and cross) engage a viewer to look further. It didn't take me long to notice similar lighting of the graveyard, the road, and the sky. - - michael Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 16, 2018 Michael,...Thank you for stopping on this one.I have been getting mileage from this church for years..all the years I have been in this area. Here,it was in PP and by playing with the light buttons that I precipitated nightime to arrive at this:the white of the church, the clouds and the snow on the ground conveniently co-operated to the highlights.Glad you stayed long enough to take it all in.Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 587 Posted January 16, 2018 This dramatic presentation was skillfully done with powerful results. Probably only someone with so intricate a knowledge of this subject could have mastered such a result. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted January 16, 2018 Wayne...Thank you also for looking in and for the kind observation.Knowing the subject is a definite plus but my main motivation in presenting a repeat scene is primarily to avoid boring the viewer, especially the repeat and valued variety with the keen critical eye.Glad you like!Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
