Jack McRitchie 150 Posted November 8, 2017 Really like the way this is segmented in terms of tones and light/dark. I feel it kind of revolves around the light post and its shadow which spills across the ground and sidewalk. This is the kind of photo that's become pretty rare on PN in recent months but its the type that really gets my attention. Link to comment
Supriyo 6,008 Posted November 28, 2017 Thanks, Jack. Glad you like it. Its great to see you around. Without you and a couple of other people, I would not have posted such photos here either. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted November 29, 2017 Although I will to avoid duplicating Jack's thoughts, I do agree with them. The shadows themselves really grabbed my attention, primarily because they do not run parallel to each other; rather, they are askew. Moreover, even though the bright sunlight hides some of the pedestrian's appearance, it doesn't seem to diminish his/her shadow. Marvelous b&w work! A favorite . . . Link to comment
