Fire and Smoke, Cariboo 2017

This picture deserves more attention than it has received. The awesome nature of the fire is suggested by the billowing plume of smoke. The airplanes provide a sense of scale although it would have perhaps had a bit more impact if they were just a tiny bit larger so that they would be immediately identifiable as airplanes and not mistaken for birds. (I had to look at the picture at it's largest size to be sure).

Thanks Jack, I know it's hard to see the planes in this size that I kept for the internet version to this small size.

The planes are like a bonus - a pleasant discovery. Excellent work, George.
