Wayne Sadler 569 Posted July 11, 2017 I once spied my art teacher casually applying blotches of paint to canvas until suddenly my eyes began to read it as a woman in a beautiful flowing gown in a field of sunlight. I thought at that moment my teacher was a magician. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,611 Posted July 11, 2017 You are right on target regarding your art teacher, Wayne. This is another splendid photographic painting. There are enough recognizable elements to assuage anyone who may be uncomfortable with "pure" abstracts, and - better still - the image has the appearance of impressionism. Link to comment

michaellinder 16,611 Posted July 11, 2017 PS, Wayne . . .I commented on another image apparently in this series, but due to our technically flawless photo.net, the comments never were posted. Sad to say, I don't remember with any accuracy what I stated. I do remember being quite impressed with the image - "bleak street." Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 569 Posted July 13, 2017 Thanks, Michael. I think that was the first time I saw a palette knife painting. Never knew an artist could say so much with so little. Thanks for the info. For a long while Bleak Street showed no views or comments. I just though everyone thought it too bleak. Link to comment
