Wayne Sadler 591 Posted May 15, 2017 For centuries a place for public executions (the last of which took place in 1826), the Piazza del Popolo, still draws a crowd.” It seemed as though not only every tourist but locals too find their way to Popolo. Hard to believe this obelisk, known as the Flaminio Obelisk or the Popolo Obelisk, was brought to Rome in 10 BC. As I processed this image it felt as though the obelisk had more still to tell. Wayne Sadler 591 Posted May 15, 2017 Thanks, Patsy. This technique requires that I "brush" each element, particularly people, thus making me pay attention to many details I otherwise would overlook. Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 591 Posted May 15, 2017 Thanks, Pierre. I thought the color helped to unify this image too. The number of things going on could get busy without this unifying element. Link to comment
