Wayne Sadler 570 Posted May 10, 2017 First built in the XII century, the building in the background with the clock tower is Palazzo Senatorio. It sits to the rear of the Piazza del Campidoglio, Rome, Italy. And the two massive statues are of Castor and Pollux, the Roman mythical twins (with different fathers) who are associated with horsemanship. You feel very small as you slowly rise up these massive steps overseen by these giant statutes Link to comment
