A very nice perspective photo with good composition, Congratz!

Tony, congratulations on a well-deserved POTD. This is an exceptional image. You ably captured the sun bathing everything from the center to the left with its warmth. Aside from the boats anchored away from the dock, there's additional interest resulting from the kayaker . Bravo! - - My best, michael

Tony, what I find interesting in this work is the perceived relation between the boat and the rope in the foreground. They are not really connected, but through your composition and clever use of perspective, you have created that illusion. Also, by leaving the Sun out of the frame, you have avoided diversion from the other elements in the scene, at the same time creating a sense of longing in my mind.

 

Looking closely, I can sense a movement in the frame towards the Sun. Its this force that is drawing everything towards it (notice the background boats are moving in it's direction). The only exception being the anchored boat and the rope. How they are avoiding the attraction of the supreme Sun could be the perceived topic in this photo. The tension between the static and the dynamic in the sea of time (in which the boat is floating), that is so prevalent in human life, finds a new meaning in this photo.
