As I was imaging this guy fishing for catfish in the Mississippi River in St. Louis, I received a text from a friend in North Carolina I had not talked to in a long time informing me he was frying catfish (he knows I am a fiend for fried catfish). A very small and synchronized world.

Hi Wayne: Most artistic and original. Seldom seen this kind of "impressionistic" composite, that, in IMHO, adds a new dimension of this technique, more refined in that you don't see sharp "cut-offs". Many thanks, Daniel. This is not a composite. I am poor at compositing. I think I have blended soft and hard lines in a way that might give the impression of several images.

Hello again Wayne. Thanks for your comment, which makes your image even more impressive. A strange place that must be, where the man appears to be fishing ....in high grass !?! and in a pond??? The lack of depth produces this very unique effect, and the whole location quite enigmatic. Bravo!!
