Wayne Sadler 582 Posted April 6, 2017 Your tying the near and far in the well designed composition makes me feel the power of this place. Well done, Tony. Link to comment

Wayne Melia 6,031 Posted May 3, 2017 My favourite of your Machu Picchu pics; really seems to capture the spirituality. and I know nothing of 'why' it does, maybe the juxtaposition of the singular sharp tree on the rhs against the foggy background? An element that I can identify as generally pleasing, is the contrast line from bottom left that is broken by the mid-mountain, continues in the valley beyond, and then reoccurs from behind the cloud along the ridge; ties everything together, leads the eye, and gets fainter on the way. The red jacket on lower rhs is a cute, whimsical sub-plot of its own, and the white cap gives contextual identity that prevents it from being just a distraction. Link to comment
charo 3 Posted June 1, 2017 Spiritual Picchu? Well I think You can appreciate the spirituality here. Maybe because of the fog? The mountains? The tree? The ruins? Or a combination of all together? Anyway, I like this picture! Perhaps the rain, managed to convey this feeling of mysticism.Kind Regards,Rosario. Link to comment
