Wayne Sadler 582 Posted March 18, 2017 I know this may be art usurping art, but this was too tempting. This mural of a bull dog by two artists known as Herakut (Hera and Akut) is part of the Nashville Walls Project. On this rainy day their art and my art collided. Comments and critique appreciated. 1/125 sec, f/3.5, 62mm, ISO 200 Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted March 18, 2017 Like it a lot Wayne, the mural of the dog seems haunting to me. What is the hand on the mural? It's the only tiny nitpick I have with this otherwise great image. In looking at it I realize it can't be helped, that's just the timing of things. Regardless I like (admire) this very much..................Best Always, Holger Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 582 Posted March 18, 2017 Thanks, Holger. I confess I was tempted to clone out the tiny hand. But it is part of the artist's statement. The "superdog" is clutching a little girl. There is a painting of a little boy in a window to the left. The artist wrote/painted the caption "One day I will rescue your brother, too." Link to comment

DGorinstein 20 Posted April 26, 2017 This very innovative (and very unique) technique of yours produces true plastic and visual jewels. I rather enjoy if for a while than spoil it with perfunctory comments, except with one that is not: Congratulations. DG Link to comment

C R Utra 1 Posted February 5, 2022 Wonderful and artistic picture! There is really a thin line between art and photography. It doesn’t matter if photography is or is not art when it pleases the senses like this photo does. Congratulations! Link to comment
