On white and black, rich and poor, the same rain falls. On this street, 5th Ave. in downtown Nashville, site of the 60’s lunch counter sit-ins, people rush about hardly noticing whom they pass or eat next to. Comments and critique appreciated.

Great colors and well composed Wayne. Even without the umbrellas I got the feeling of rain from this, perhaps your stroke technique, regardless another very enjoyable treat for our eyes.................Best Always, Holger

Patsy and Holger, thanks for the kind comments and encouragement. My favorite painting medium is watercolor so whenever it rains I am looking for scene to photograph thru glass/my windshield. Colors and forms flow and merge as they do in watercolor.

I always wanted to get an umbrella in the rain shot ... this one is so beautiful, great catch! Thanks for sharing!
