Jolly old boy

I must now critique my own photo since there is no other way to input the data about the photo! This is a bounced flash photo! Unbelievable how much better RAW files results give and how many possibilities and options the RAW file processing offers! This one was showing something on the wall behind and I had to darken the shadows in order to avoid it! Since the face came up to be very dark I simply brightened only the reds with the selective colors tool! Thank you for your attention! PDE!

Not so old more mature. Nice self portrait with very good use of the light and shade. You've captured so much detail but not too much which can spoil portraits. Good use of all that RAW information, nicely edited. Best regards Ken.

Hi, Pierre. This is a good portrait! (Or we should say self-portrait). What I like here is the expression of your face, and your smile . The flash may be a bit intense, because it gives a little shine on the forehead. I learned to use the RAW format since 2008, and it's super!
