In order to help him “see”, a sorcerer (probably fictional) asked his

chela (sorcerer in training) to lie face down on a table with his head

over the edge and look back at the world upside-down. Seeing the world

upside down, obliquely or anyway other than from our customary

view-point awakens our attention and we see anew. Comments and

critique appreciated.

Wayne,

I like this...a lot. There is a gentle pull into the lower left frame, followed by an easy breezy movement through the forest. I'm carried to the canopy and then, float out of the upper right with the leaves. It's the same sensation as when a leaf flows in a stream, circles around in an eddy, then slips out, and on its way. The image is dreamy and rich with color that all seems to have a purpose, and is as it should be. I've been here before. Thanks for making it easy to get back. All I have to do is look at this image and I'm there.

I am in agreement as well, a reflection turned upside down? Brilliant. Now all you have to do is grill pork with that and people will come from miles around.

Very impressive and creative. It gives one a calming and soothing effect. The bit of the bank that is not part of the reflection gives a solid anchor to the image.

Hi Wayne,

It takes a good eye to detect the sweet scene in the reflection and a keen artistic sense to turn it into this choice image.Bravo, mon ami! Into my Favourites.

Salutations-Laurent

Many thanks my talented friends.  I didn't know this would get such a good reception.  I am encouraged.

Hi Wayne, a really effective result! It's like a art painting and I love the colours. It is kind of cross between abstract and impressionist. Love it! Best wishes. Sarah.
