Another beautiful one, Mark. Between this one and yesterday's, I think I prefer the other (though it's a difficult choice) because of the gold tones in the foreground, the off-centerness of the main peak, and that beautiful sky. The tighter view on this one is nice for showing the detail in the foothills and mountains, though. I wonder if doing a relatively loose crop on yesterday's might give you the best of both worlds?

Thanks.. I have mixed feelings about the two as well for the reasons you mention.  The light was changing rapidly and I took a lot of images and I need to go through them all carefully. I did not crop the last one and I probably can still get a lot of the detail of the mountains and keep the peak off center as well.

A very beautiful image with a wealth of details in the distant mountains, the soil pattern in the foreground is reminiscent of the clouds, ciao Giangiorgio
