italy is truly a country abunded with prove of a rich past. And yet so beautifull you hold your breath meting it with the eye. So I do seeing this image.

A spectacular use of monochrome.  The contrasts and textures are amazing.  To me, the strongest element is how the curvature of the retaining wall and roadway is congruent with the Castle's cylindrical design.
