A circular polarizer was used to reveal the rocks below the water more effectively. There were a couple of 'bubble streaks' that I cloned out.

Water and reflections are a irresistible combination, making an abstract and surreal melange of colors and textures.

Thanks. I could not resist as I spent an hour trying different 'takes'. Initially, I was not sure whether this had much appeal but it is growing on me.

A mesmerizing image that reminds me of the hours spent fishing staring into the depths and day dreaming.

Original and very pleasing!

Best Regards

Beautiful clarity to the bottom of the river - the Reflections and mixture of light form above truly do offer up an ethereal effect in the final image.

Jack, Holger, Alf, Patsy, David, Kamala, David and Gail,

Many thanks for your kind words and appreciation for this image.

This year, I had about 3 full autumn days for photography and really wanted more but 'life constraints' prevented me from doing more. On those few full days, I shot from before sunrise until after sundown and was too tired to even try for night shots.  I decided to spend some time at this location where there was some low lying residual fog. The light looked good so I photographed and photographed while trying avoid anything that seemed repetitive.

PS I had to make a trip to the photolab today so I decided to print a 12 x 18 lustre of this one. And it looks nice.

A well chosen POV and the pristine water.  Just an opinion but the red reflection makes the shot for me... Mike
