Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted November 22, 2016 Larger view available. Have you ever gotten condensation on your lens between the lens and a filter? I was beside myself trying to get my viewfinder to display a clear image. After a short fit of frustration I realized that the humidity was the culprit. The result is an interesting image. Good can come from our mistakes. What's your take on this image? Please comment. Thanks. Larry Link to comment
hstelljes 41 Posted November 22, 2016 Larry, Oddly enough I'm drawn to this image. It lends itself to the imagination, you see enough of the scene, kind of like a hazy, pleasant dream. It's a thumbs up from me.Best Always, Holger Link to comment
alfbailey 3 Posted November 22, 2016 It is interesting and different! It differentiates from a normal foggy or misty image in as much as this scene is uniformly hazy. Normally a misty scene will typically become more misty the further the depth of the image that is being viewed. Obviously due to the mist being compounded. All that being said, the silhouetted figure and the leaning palms create a moody atmosphere that goes way beyond what could have been captured with a clear lens! Might be worth experimenting with a B & W conversion too?A fortunate accident indeed! Best Regards Alf Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 4, 2016 At first, I thought you might be shooting through a very transparent window shade or something like that. I like the effect. It has a bit of old Hollywood gauziness to it, and the palm trees are well seen in that way. I love how the perspective elongates their trunks. The great thing about successful accidents is that they still have to be recognized. You did. Link to comment
