Tony Brandstetter 814 Posted November 16, 2016 Very nicely done the way the walk way creates movement for our eyes an mind to explore everywhere, then we come across the man with the umbrella, a nice touch - Link to comment

giuseppe_pasquali 0 Posted November 17, 2016 Dear PN friends. This shot was taken through the closed window of a restaurant while having lunch in the days when PN, and photography in general, had been removed almost totally from my life due to the fact that family and work problems had a very severe impact on my well-being. I remember seeing the man with the umbrella slowly entering the scene from the bottom and the urge to grab the camera, stand up and nonchalantly shoot while waiters and clients were staring perplexed at me. Ah, Photography is fun.Glad you like it, a big thank you to you all and some explanations about the title. Now that things are going way better, I have decided to share this shot with PN community with a title both referencing the sad interlude in my life and the sense of coming back to photography from a distant time (Back to the Future):Tears in Rain."I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."Rutger Hauer as Replicant Roy Batty in Bladerunner - 1982 Link to comment
