I think I see a cow's head. I get a strange sense (somber, evil, etc)  from this image - almost like a sacrificial lamb ready for consumption. I was going to paint the picture more graphically but they might send me to the 'funny farm' shackled and repeating  "Jack made me do it".

Perhaps a cow's head, perhaps a piece of modern Art...god knows, but for me your tribal fetish figure is a real interesting enigma that keeps me wondering with a smile and I really like it. Best regards,

truly interesting - I would love to know what it really is - if it is created by nature of some old worn wooden carving - it sure is eye catching. I see a head wearing a crown, or some kind of western hat, sitting on some form of animal/horse/lama - head of animal is to the right of the 'creature/man's head. I see a body, some sort of saddle, it's right leg, curved and boot near the bottom of the 'horse's' belly.  But if I really stare at it I am sure I will be able to see a Tribal Fetish Figure' :) good find!

The bulge in this creature's belly leads me to believe that this is a fertility fetish.  The artist who created it obviously is an expert at woodcrafting. The nuances in design and texture are amazing.

And you, Jack, obviously are an expert at capturing this intricate fetish with a camera.

Däniken will be happy to interpret this as done by gods from another planet. The light and shade are in right proportion and the angle of view is exactly right, while a bit underexposed, I believe. superb composition. compliments -koushik

Hi Jack. I was steering long enough to see  the figure. What a sharp eyes  you  haw! It  is an abstraction,  to add  something to it, I  would  increase  the  red and  yellow, so the  forms  would  jump out  more positively.
