Thanks, Radu. This is one of at least three wild turkey flocks roaming our land with numbers ranging from 5 or 6 to over 20 in a group. To them, a fence is just a minor nuisance...

These are strong flyers - fence irrelevant.

A great shot.  Love to see wild turkeys and I had some in my backyard last year.

These guys can act like really dumb clucks (pun intended) but get super vigilant during the time of year when they have to be careful ;-).  Great shot... Mike   

Sandy, Jorge, Bill, Mike- thanks a bunch!  Ben, this is already quite a crop- as Mike says, they are quite shy and not easy to get close to. I'll try to post the original for size comparison.

Even with the crop the larger view offers great details and textures.
