Great action shot! Where were you when you took this?

Just a comment as a life long sailor who has sailed J-24s.. these fellas are in big trouble! Too much sail up!! Did they make it?

They did all right (along with 8 other crews) Warren, they are "professional amateurs", but thanks for asking. I was onshore (ofcourse!) 200-300m away (656-984 feet) on top of some rocks with a Canon 7D and a 70-200mm lense.

I think you have a particular gift (among others) for these ocean sailing shots.  Vivid, vibrant, and exciting.  Brings back memories of rough weather sailing as a young man.
