I really liked this vista, clouds and full sun, tried several times to get

the shot the way I saw it. This as close as I could come, even with a

bit of tweaking. I probably should have used the Grad ND. C&C

appreciated!

Tough shot = good result. Like the composition and subject in this one Sandy. Nicely composed with good colours and light. The two people add some interest and scale. Best regards Ken.

I think you have done well to balance the colours and light yet still retain a very natural look.  I also like the touch of warmth on the distant hillside. For a more targeted adjustment to the sky (better than the digital ND Grad) try the adjustment brush in Adobe Lightroom, that is of course you if use this software.

Best Regards

The large view reveals there are actually four people, no matter, Kens point is correct as to scale. This view itself is something to behold Sandy, I too think you've given us a good image from probably a tough spot. I like the cloud cover and the spot of light hitting the hill way back there. Keep em' coming.

Ken, Thank you! The constantly changing weather made it more interesting than a beautiful day would have been. It was a day of sun shining through clouds.  I will be posting some more examples.  Much appreciate your feedback.  Sandy

Many thanks, Alf.  I have Elements and a couple of others, but my PP skills are relatively modest.  It was the best of several shots just touched up a bit.  Another time! BR, Sandy

Holger, thanks you.  The weather was very interesting and changeable as it is here in the West, I will be posting a few landscapes later, with possibly even more interesting light.  I much appreciate your commenting. Best, Sandy

Nice shot Sandy, scale is always important in a shot like this, so the people in the bottom right hand corner are a good inclusion. Thank you for the internal mail you sent me it was very helpful.
