Wayne Sadler 567 Posted October 6, 2016 Bodie Island Lighthouse – Cape Hatteras National SeashoreAs I took this path to the marsh overlook and passed the signs warningof the venomous snakes in the area, I wasn’t the least bit afraid. But it was fortunate I had my tripod to steady the shaking – probablyfrom the winds coming in from the ocean. Comments and critiqueappreciated. Link to comment

photo by patsy dunn 1 Posted October 6, 2016 Wayne, Beautiful scene with wonderful composition, colors & details. I sure am glad you didn't walk upon a snake you would still be running. Take care, Patsy Link to comment

hstelljes 41 Posted October 6, 2016 Beautiful capture Wayne. I love lighthouses and was immediately drawn to this but you're totally right about viewing it large, even better. I would have been moving right along after seeing signs posted for venomous snakes too. Good work.BR, Holger Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 567 Posted October 7, 2016 Holger,I can't help stopping to image a lighthouse. The vantage point from this marsh seemed perfect and gave me the nerves to venture beyond the snake warnings. (I am one of those with snake phobia) Link to comment
