Timo Hartikainen 548 Posted August 20, 2016 From our backyard. I like the light on the leaves. Some of the background highlights reflect some shapes of aperture blades and I guess it's not a good idea to have a bright spot on the upper corner, but somehow I like this photo, it has the feeling of summer, even though autumn is already close. cegeiss 6 Posted August 20, 2016 I agree - it is a nice delicate image. I like the graceful curve of the vine and leaves. As far as the background goes: I recall a time when big, fat hexagonal out-of-focus highlights were all the rage (not to speak of the donut highlights that showed that you could afford a mirror lens - I never could :-).A beautiful result Timo! krpradu 125 Posted August 21, 2016 Timo, this image in its simplicity is very good to me and as you said when see in a walk or in the yard, garden this beautiful backlight on leaves could not stop to take a shot, visual impact is what we like always.Bokeh result here imo complete very well the composition and makes it dreamy, about right blue spot that is from sky for sure is easy to be removed but is your call to have it or not, maybe is a bit disturbing but main subject is the attraction and it works. Giangiorgio Crisponi 463 Posted August 21, 2016 Little is better. As always, simplicity and minimalism make your images very beautiful. The fantastic bokeh and beautiful lighting bring out the sharpness of the two leaves, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment
