I think it's a pity lighting was from behind and the inside of the flower is in shade. Also, while the right side of the background looks good being empty the stem from the left side doesn't fit in so well being somewhat visible. The flower is a quite good subject and your choice of flower looks excellent.

If you can remove the slight greenish tint it might improve the image somewhat which is already very good. Then again it might not ?

Mike- So glad you can share the feeling with us- that's the goal!

Harry- thanks- hadn't noticed a greenish tint- there was a lot of green around, so maybe reflections??
