Thank you very much my friend ! This picture was always on my mind. As we get older we see things slightly differently..:-).

Thank you very much ! That's more or less what Monte Stinnett said on the original on November 2008.His exact words were:

''One of the cooler silhouettes I've seen, especially the long slender necks. 7/7''.

Thanks again !.

Dimitris, wonderful colors and composition, I really like it. Those old Fuji sensors were beautiful, I use to have Fuji S3Pro, it was slow as molasses, but dynamic range and rich colors still unbeaten.

Thank you my friend. It is a great camera ( I still have mine ) but like all cameras It has advantages and disadvantages. It has only 6 megapixels and I found that its performance in low light was nothing to write home about, the batteries kept running out, to name but a few.

Thanks for your visit and comment.

All the very best,

Dimitris.

Man has learned how to fly largely by watching the birds. Anything that flies fascinates me..-:).

Thank you for your comment and visit my friend !

Best regards,

I love silhouettes and odd numbers and this image has both!

The black silhouettes against the rich warmth of the sunset makes for a stunning combination.

I wonder how difficult it would be to spread them out more symmetrically, one in each corner and one in the middle.  I'm not very good at doing things like that myself, yet I find myself wondering about the possibilities.

Excellent work as usual my friend!

Best Regards

A very kind and eloquent comment my friend, thank you very much !. As for your suggestion I would say: 'perhaps'. But this is exactly how I shot it, any alteration, as you know, will disqualify it from any competition. (If one wants to enter it in one -:) ).

Kind regards,

Dimitris.
