Both of these versions are excellent with this being my favorite for the legs trailing behind the "O" and the world in miniature created by the open space in the "P". A courtyard comic fantasy delivered with perfect tonality.

Supriyo; This one is beguiling, with the walker disappearing behind the foreground object. I am pulled-into the image as I try to figure out the story. B&W is nicely done, with excellent tonal range.

Jack, David,

Thank you very much for your valuable comments. Many times I feel that I stay on this site mainly because of my reviewers, ... without your comments, posting my images would be futile.

I believe all interpretations of my image are valid and mine is just one of them. Looking at this, I can imagine a poor human being absorbed by a huge alphabet and transported to a different world, as nicely described by David and so aptly summarized by Jack: "a comic fantasy".

Supriyo -- I'm sorry I have never seen your work before.  (Your comment in a thread about Steve McCurry on the Casual Conversations forum brought me here.)  But I am glad to see it.

I very much agree with the others who have commented on the wonderful black and white tonality of this photograph.  Aesthetically, it is just my cup of tea and the type of street photograph I enjoy viewing.  Beguiling and ambiguous, but engaging because of it.  Very nice work in my opinion.

Steve,

I am honored and thrilled that you would notice my work. These sculptures are somewhere I go on a daily basis, and I was waiting for the right opportunity to photograph them, and I think I got it finally. I also prefer this version since the other one looks too staged in my opinion. I will continue to experiment at this location, and hope to come up with some new perspective. I thank you wholeheartedly for taking the time to critic my work. Its a real pleasure.
