Playful

I really like this picture. There's a sense of immediacy and joy to it that I think is wonderful. A risky shot (well not really risky but I hope you know what I mean) but one that I think captures the spirit of a playful moment very well.

When I posted this image, I hoped you would take a look, and you did. Thank you for your invaluable critic and comment. I am very much fond of spontaneity and would try to take more such images in future. I am not sure how the blurred hand in the foreground appeals to others, but to me it is part of the spontaneous un-staged element of the scene. It also imparts a sense of depth and playfulness that I wanted here and shows that the photographer is part of the action (you are looking through his eyes :-))

There is such delight in the child's expression (so pretty) and the blurred hand speaks of your capturing the moment as it happened - sometimes these are the memories that stand out for us - you will always remember her expression!
