A very interesting perspective Supriyo. Are we outside looking in or inside looking out? Like a line of natural bars. I suppose it's a courtyard and you may come and go as you please but the perspective allows my mind to see it a bit differently. I like it.

A creatively effective shot, Supriyo. Great idea to shoot through the rough screen of poles or trees or whatever they are and all for the sake of a humble electric meter. This is how you spin gold out of straw. I'll tuck this in my favorites.

Jack,

Thank you for noticing, and your insightful comment. Your recent photo of the electric meter (or box rather) reminded me of this shot. It is so eccentric to see a electric meter in a place like this which is in my mind a time machine into the 18th century. That too, carefully fenced away, as if the small piece of land is dedicated to this electric meter alone. Just before this, I encountered a church with locked doors, and from behind the door I could see the alter at a distance. Its irresistible to notice a comical resemblance between the two scenarios.

Holger,

Many thanks for your comment. You are right. The wooden bars do provide a dual perspective, I can imagine myself captive and looking out, or looking in from outside. As I mentioned in the previous comment to Jack, the whole perspective is eccentric to me.

I very much enjoyed your response and thoughts on this picture. We don't get enough of that on pn. Thanks for taking the time.

Lanie,

Thank you for visiting. I took this photo in a whim, without much of a thinking. Something in me urged to take this image. The interpretation came later. That's the magic of this hobby, I guess.
