What a composition!! First I like the bridge that leads me into the picture which is very inviting. Second, the poles that form a triangle give a balance to this picture and with b/w it certainly form a character to this picture.

Jack I like this a lot and I think Lees' statement is why. Balance, composition or just good eye should cover it. Well done my friend.

I appreciate your comments on this picture. The rope has some sort of symbolic meaning tied to the rice harvest. I actually quite like the way this one turned out so I'm happy that you like it, too.

Everything all ready said. What is  the  meaning of this  symbolical  rope  to the bridge? I'm curious.

Cheers.

Thanks for your comments on this one. hope to see more work from you, Ilia. Bela, I don't have any idea myself. I have several other shots of this temple and it's clear that this is part of a long standing tradition but no one seems to know the meaning.

I have soft spot for this kind of scene including rare, temporary geometric elements, may the reason be whatever.

Long time, no see. Glad to get your comment on this one which I like very much as well. A picture inhabits its own world or rather the internal world of the photographer, a world which even he, himself may be only dimly aware of. Just can't help myself, always drifting into the depths of philosophy and the realm of ideas. It's as much fun for me as taking the picture. Exploration and speculation come as easily to me as eating ice cream.
