Hello Diane,

I love this! The subject matter is a favorite and hobby of mine. Is it from Boyton Cabyon in Az? 

I like the way you have the close subject and distance in sharp focus.  I can imagine the stories it initiates in people's imaginations. It encompasses the true story of the Native American (for me) history. Do you have more of this genre' ?. I'll check your site.

Jane,

Thanks so much for the visit and comments!   The folder containing this shot is all from Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada.  My brother lives in Vegas and when I visit, I love going here to shoot.  This is my second trip and I find something new each time.   I've linked to the park site here:  http://parks.nv.gov/parks/valley-of-fire-state-park/

It's certainly a 'must see' as far as I'm concerned.
