Supriyo; I like both images of this subject. The other had me seeing a ceiling treatment, but this one brings truth to light. Now I see the vertical blinds, though they remain wonderfully abstract. The leaf gives that one bit of truth that explains, but does not undo, the whole image. Well done.

I was leafing through your images and stumbled on to this one.  I am glad I did!

Supriyo, since (to the best of my recollection) I haven't seen any of your images posted for critique, I decided to visit your portfolio and kind of stumbled upon this gem. Thanks to David, I now know what the scalloped objects along the top are. Yet, this in no way spoils the image's powerful abstraction. which is due to its containing and interesting combination of both natural and human-made objects. Deciding to use monochrome, in my opinion, was the correct choice. I don't think the image would be nearly as successful if it were in color.

Just amazing, how the presence of a small leaf changes the overall character of the image by adding a 'dose of reality' in an otherwise abstract scene. I recently posted one image for critique.
