The Third Spire, Lichfield Cathedral, England. Looking east between

As for the brighter sky around the tower...don't know, I wouldn't do it because the object is interesting and impressive enough without it, Ken!

Hi Pierre. Thanks for your comment and advice, much appreciated. I've not intentionally made any alterations to the sky. The light and dark tones became more prominent with the monochrome conversion, which I then used. Best regards Ken.

I like the bold, central composition of this one.  The fine detail and sharp spire have great dynamics. 

I can almost see this made of metal in the form of an alien space craft.
