Thank you kindly.Winter can be quite an artist with these large bodies of water;here on the harbour,we have the added contribution of the tides which generate extensive cracking especially on stormy days.

I choose my spots and stand where the ice is thickest/safest and the water not too deep;standing on the far end of this crack would be a little more tricky.Glad you like the shot.

I really like the composition.  The tonality of the sky and clouds really enhances the cold look of the ice.
