I like the image, composition and the building but not the sepia.  I would try it in straight B&W. In my opinion, that would put the finishing touch on a very nice shot.

Great composition enhanced by the dramatic sky. I like the soft yet contrasting light and shade on the building.

Ken, I like this one, and the sepia seems a good treatment. My only whine is that both the very top of the weather vane and the bottom of the door are cut off. For me, either or both should have been given room in the frame. Still, the tones, textures, and framing are very engaging. Well done.

Hi David. Thanks for the detailed and encouraging comment. Yes the top of the weathervane is very close to the top of the frame, but I was very careful to include it. The door I purposely cropped as I felt it distracted the viewers eye from the upper part of the building which was the intended subject. Thanks again, keep up the good work, best regards Ken.

I really like how the tree branches frame the image and direct the viewer's eye to the cupola of the building.  The detail and tonality are spot on, in my opinion.  To me, the possibility of technical flaws doesn't spoil the artistic impact of the image.

My best,

michael
