DavidTriplett 12,682 Posted January 18, 2016 Tm, I see you are back to your old haunts after returning from red rock country. Very nicely captured, with effective freeze-framing of a highly dynamic scene. Well done, as usual. Link to comment
tm_j 30 Posted January 19, 2016 Thanks David! Old habit dies hard, I've been shooting almost 40 years and I had 'thought' I am a landscape guy but digital photograpy have proven that's not true since I've been hooked to bird photography since 2008. Many times, I see great landscape shot, great light but no .. inclination to shoot . A sight of any birds excite me though :-) Thanks Greg & Verena! It's must be cold where you are at :-) Link to comment
Giangiorgio Crisponi 477 Posted January 19, 2016 Tm you have freezed a magical moment, the cormorant seems to show his prey in the best verse, surrounded by a myriad of droplets, I like to observe that the thieves are always in action, ciao Giangiorgio Link to comment

tm_j 30 Posted January 20, 2016 Thanks Mehmet! Thanks Ruud! Grazie Mille Giangiorgio! Thanks C. Thao! Greg & Verena! That's cold! When I was at Arch National Park coming out a 4,5 AM to try to shoot startrail it's 9F and I keep wondering why it's so cold (had to go back to the car with engine running often) since my mind still thinking in Celcius ( I grew up with metric and Celcius) and keep thinking below zero is cold but 9F is already -12 Celcius.
