Many Birds are Flying - Laprairie Quebec

It just gives real joy and a sense of freedom to look at this image. Although the birds are scattered all over, their distribution is not erratic. The biggest bird is placed right at the bottom left one-third point. I think this is what makes the composition quite effective. I also like that the birds are not mere silhouette (which happens when you photograph things against bright sky backdrop), but the inner features are visible.

Nice combination of sky, clouds and birds!

I love this composition of patterns of clouds , which are beautiful -- the long sinews -- some like cotton, some like spider webs, some like lightly frozen water -- a strong sense of textures and differences -- and the vibrant, rich blueness of sky and then the wonderful movement of birds and life and their community.  Very well captured!  Happy New Year.  This is life-affirming.  It makes me smile with happiness

It seems to me that the spectacle of these birds may be competing for attention with the majesty of the sky.  No matter, though, because these elements stand in a symbiotic relationship with each other.  They form an organic whole that can keep me occupied for quite a while.
