Wonderful capture of dynamic range. I like contrast created by the foreground rocks illuminated by the blue skylight, while the ground by the warm glow of the sun. Also extraordinary is the fact that in spite of having the sun in the picture, there are no direct sun rays or shadows, but a soft afterglow everywhere.

I take it you did some HDR type work on this, either bringing up the shadows in a high DR image, or multiple shots blended. In any case it was very well done, looks very realistic, leaving the dark shadows on the sides to frame the image. Very peaceful and beautiful spot.
