Jim_Dockery_Photos 2 Posted December 1, 2015 I carried my camera & telephoto all the way to the top of Mt. Dickerman hoping for a couple good shots, this was my favorite. Link to comment
cegeiss 6 Posted December 1, 2015 I agree - it's a great image. I like the composition, especially how the forest balances the patch of clouds diagonally across the frame. Well done! Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted December 1, 2015 Strong shot; it has a definite sense of presence. Link to comment
Not Here 93 Posted December 2, 2015 Wow, it was well worth your effort. A really striking image, beautiful detail, just the right amount of clouds and the b/w treatment is spot on. Gorgeous... Mike Link to comment
Jim_Dockery_Photos 2 Posted December 5, 2015 Thanks for all the comments. I have yet to climb this striking mountain near my house, but want to. The normal route winds around on the opposite side, then finishes up the right hand skyline ridge near the top. The west face, pictured here, is a long scramble with a few technical pitches down low - up through the middle. In winter it would be a great ice climb, except for our warm maritime winters which don't build up good climbable ice very often. Link to comment
