There is no content - what is the message here?  Oh, wait...it's the medium.  I think McLuhan would have enjoyed this one, on several levels.

Jack,  What makes this abstract is the aggressive tear that split the grey page on a wall.  The white page underneath links well, itself like a casualty and adds to the story.  Great emotional capture!

A challenge to McLuhanism; the gauntlet is thrown.  

 

I see a quest in this powerful image, a seeking of reasons for communication between and among persons to be torn asunder by (sometimes) blindly surrendering to technology.
