I wouldn't be surprised to see this hanging in a museum of modern art, a subtler less colorful Mondrian.

rectangle, (1), (2 white.....), grey, black,...... Line....

The Medium and Nothing More............. become clear...

Wonderful, subtle energy.

There is no content - what is the message here?  Oh, wait...it's the medium.  I think McLuhan would have enjoyed this one, on several levels.

This piece should be kept in the museum . Awesome!!

less is more... you have a way of seeing things that most of us just cant

Jack,  What makes this abstract is the aggressive tear that split the grey page on a wall.  The white page underneath links well, itself like a casualty and adds to the story.  Great emotional capture!

A challenge to McLuhanism; the gauntlet is thrown.  

I see a quest in this powerful image, a seeking of reasons for communication between and among persons to be torn asunder by (sometimes) blindly surrendering to technology.  

This is a work of art, Jack.

Sure looks like it should be framed in a Gallery to me!!! You have such a good eye for Street Abstract Jack!
