Cher Laurent: J'espere que vous est bien. I very much like the image. I must however, be very honest with you. I am a nature lover. The trees, the red brush, the perspective, the gray sky work so perfectly together, that in this very particular case, the jet streams somehow disturb the natural beauty and peacefulness of the place. I understand the purpose of the capture, it is impressive, no doubt. But in the end it is a matter of personal taste. In any case, do not take this as a criticism. Contrarily, a comment on a very interesting concept you are portraying. This, I guess, is what photography is all about....appealing to some for certain things, and less appealing to others for different things.

Best regards.

Salut Daniel,

Toujours content d'avoir ta visite et de recevoir tes commentaires si appropriés.I understand and appreciate your feeling about the presence of the contrails and as you say,it is purely a matter of taste to include or not.It was not a difficult choice for me as the trails were there when I drove by and stopped at this spot for a few shots....almost a drive-by shooting of sort, but I must confess that I rather like the signatures left in our skies here which happens to be in the Canada-Europe flight corridor. When I first brought this up on the sceen,it was just another autumnal shot of Aspens trying to hold on to their leaves and then,I started to tweak it with the saturation curve on my PP program until the blue disappeared from the sky.....and I liked it enough to post.Glad you also liked it enough to add your valuable input.

Merci et salutations amicales-Laurent
