I really like this one. I'm fine with letting the shadows at the bottom go to black, provides a heavy base. The whips of wind blown snow off the peak at right really makes it for me. Wouldn't want to be up there!

Hi Jim.  Jasper, late fall, here and there snow  flurry, dawn in the valley,  was  relatively quiet,  but, at  the top,   very  windy  and  you  could hear  some deep howling sound. I wont  like to  be  there either. I was photographing this peak,  closer  and  father a way,  changing  position to left and right  for  about an hour. It  was mesmerizing and frightening, but  beautiful.

Thank you for the  comments.

What an incredible sight.

I have stood in the lee of mountains and heard the wind howl across the ridge above.  It is an eerie sound.
