modes of transport

According with aerodynamic, the  flying plane angle is  questionable. Also, the scale, to each others.  And the  tone of the plane and the boat is off too. But,  it  is a very interesting image.

the plane just took off from Nice airport.

I was shooting this picture while standing on a hill, 300 m high above the sea, with a telezoom lens. The plane hadn't arrived yet at that altitude - it's still below my horizon.

All that might explain the eerie feelings you've got while studying this image ;-)
