That little bit of space over the arch produces a completely different effect from your previous view of the same scene. Pulling back like this gives the picture a cinematic feeling, the sense of an unfolding story, along with a certain timelessness whereas the other uses the arch simply to frame a view of the grounds. That picture is quite well done but the storyteller in me prefers this one.
