What an excellent POV Dimitris! Such a fabulous plane. I have not been to a Professional Air Show - that is one treat that is one my 'bucket list'!!! I am sure there are more images you have to post!!! Looking forward to them!

A really original, dynamic POV Dimitri with vivid colors as well. The Hercules fills in nicely the empty sky, the pilot's helmet resting on the open canopy creates the anticipation for immediate action. The only cons i can find is that i wanted the whole anopy in the frame.

Thanks for sharing.

Petraki, Petraki my name is Dimitraki...-:).

Thanks for the compliment, my friend. Yes I do fly but I hate flying straight and level It is boring. So I build and fly radio controlled model airplanes. A lot of people think they are toys. Wrong. Every aircraft begins its life as a model. The guy by the way who is sitting in the passenger seat is an airline pilot great friend of mine and in fact a lot of airline pilots fly models. You can do aerobatic routines and incredible stunts to your hearts content without worrying about the pilot passing out or getting killed, and is cheaper of cource..-:).

Thank you very much for dropping in my friend and making such a positive comment. Yes I do have a lot of pictures not only of aircraft but of a lot of other subjects too..-:).

If you do go to an airplane show do not forget to take with you your ear defenders. People underestimate the damage to the hearing system especially from noise of jet air craft flying near. Anything over 85 decibels can be damaging.

Be well my friend.

Thank you very much for your very good appraisal. The composition works perfectly for me. If you look at the right hand side, the rudder is cut off vertically and so is the canopy. The nose of the Hercules lines up with the tip of the canopy and the interior of the plane and those three elements, placed at the first third, are the most important in the picture. On my compact's view finder I have a grid of thirds, I saw the Hercules coming, I composed the picture that you see and I squeezed the shutter when his nose was on the line with the first third.

Be well my friend.

It is a great challenge to tie together a static object with a moving one, and particularly where there is a common theme. You usually only have one chance of getting it right and you have demonstrated this here perfectly.  The almost tangible intricate detail of the foreground plane allows the ultimate viewing point from which to admire the Hercules.

Excellent work my friend!

Best Regards

Thank you very much for your visit and excellent comment Alf. As you mentioned, one has only one chance to take this kind of photo and a split second to do it in...-:)
