I ben there several time, but, I never seen such an interesting clouds, sky like this. It is very dramatic sky for the Haystack Rocks.  My only question is, why the clouds  at the right blue and suddenly at the left is grey only?

Untouched colour, it was wonderful light. Believe it was the light off the Pacific, almost Prussian blue. Thanks for your comments, best wishes William.

William,  WOW!  This is dazzling.  I too have been to Cannon Beach a couple times.  This amazing image that could be from "The Twilight Zone" is proof that we only get one chance at capturing a well visioned shot.  You nailed it.  I can feel the storm looming overhead.  Larry

Impressive sky and equally stunning scene with the big rock and mirror surface in this skillfully framed image.Good work ...and I am borrowing for my Favorites folder.

Yes, very interesting. The position of the little islands is perfect, as well as the white speck in the lower sky, with its reflection. Deserves a higher average and I will contribute. Congratulation for the photo.

Congratulations William! A picture really extraordinary that marries the skill of the photographer with the luck of a sky so extraordinary!

Really neat clouds & light.  If you decide to print this you should touch-up the spots in the cloud at roughly 10:00 and 11:30 from the large stack.  Regards, Jeff

Beautiful.

Magnificent.

They seem inadequate.

Perhaps mesmerizing and magical!
