Taste the rose (large view)

I did this shot with a tiger Lily petal and a rose in background,I was

amazed how petal looks when I saw it on screen, top edge has lot of

small hairs with a bit of sticky nectar I think,with naked eyes can be

seen.Single shot f16/ 2s /iso100 sigma70mm macro.

Amazing shot. Well done!

Brilliant colours, light and textures. This almost abstract image takes flower photography to a whole new level  It does remind of another great flower photographer "Dror Baldinger"  although I don't think the colours he used were quite as vibrant.
